Mayra Channa, a sophomore, is new to Media Studies and eager to grow as a writer. She enjoys English, running cross country, and traveling. She also loves K-dramas, K-pop, and artists like Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey. Mayra hopes to become a corporate lawyer, planning to study business in college before pursuing law school. She believes journalism will help her gain confidence in speaking and writing, skills she’ll use in her future career.
