Styles Of The Season

As the leaves turn color and the temperature drops, students start to transition to cozy but fashionable looks during the fall.

Jehieli Romero Robles

Jehieli Romero Robles, a junior, captures the essence of fall with her warm outfits, featuring soft knits and autumn hues. Robles recommends brands such as Brandy Melville and Uniqlo.

“I also get my clothes from thrifting,” Robles said.

Her must-haves for fall are scarves, boots, and turtle necks.

“Boots in fall are a MUST, especially coffee-brown boots,” Robles said.

Robles’ favorite fall accessories are scarves and banana hair clips. “The banana hair clips just give off fall vibes,” Robles said.

 Alicia Avalos Mendez

Alicia Avalos Mendez, a senior, says layering up clothes plays a big part in her favorite things about fall fashion. Mendez recommends brands like Brandy Melville, UGG, and anything that requires fur.

Mendez’s top must-haves for fall would be UGG boots and leggings to go under anything you’d like.

“Definitely UGG boots and leggings for sure,” Mendez said.

A personal go-to fall outfit for Mendez would be her oversized knit sweater with leggings, a jean skirt, and her UGGs.

“That just gives pumpkin patch for sure,”  said Mendez.

Maya Lily Pool

Maya Lily Pool, a sophomore, shows her style through warm neutrals and layered outfits with fur boots and knit sweaters. Pool recommends Hollister for its “Cable-Knit Icon V-Neck Sweater,” which she called iconic.

“My favorite thing about fall is honestly the style of it, but also the pumpkin chai lattes,” Pool said.

She layers cozy yet stylish clothes to turn a simple outfit into something put-together and autumn-ready.

“I’d usually layer a lace tank top with a jacket and flared pants,” Pool said.
